We recommend stitching together at least 2 panels 2 1/2 yards long to create a bed covering.

Completing this process will reduce the chance your coverlet will shrink in the future.
It is best to wet the cloth out full width. Fill a vessel (a bathtub works well) with enough hot water to cover the fabric. Add some mild detergent (shamoo works great) and allow the fabric to soak for 30 minutes. Drain the water and refill your vessel with enough warm water to cover the cloth and allow it to soak for an additional 15-20 minutes. Line dry.
