This is a copy of the button made by S.A. Myers & Son in Richmond VA used throughout the war. The state of North Carolina began contracting with S.A. Myers & Son in 1861. I had Waterbury Button Company cut the dies to make these reproduction buttons. They have a raw brass finish.
